beat themselves in grief: Or “mourn.” A person repeatedly beat his hands against his chest to express extreme grief or feelings of guilt and remorse.—Isa 32:12; Na 2:7; Lu 23:48.

The sign of the Son of man could very well be an epifania, also rendered epifanías or epiphany. That is a manifestation or a revealing of an undergoing prophecy. Notice the following verse: "Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land." (Exodus 23:30)

The Judgement of the living is pre-millienial during Christ's Presence of the Last Days.
